The chef

Andy Matsuda

Andy was born near Kobe in 1956 and started cooking in his family's Japanese restaurant at 9. He apprenticed at Genpachi in Osaka, then moved to Los Angeles at 25 and rose to chief sushi chef.

In 2002 he founded the Sushi Chef Institute in downtown LA. He's been cooking for over four decades.

Pick one menu for the whole table. Sushi bar orders go on paper, everything else you order by scanning the code at your table.

The full sushi bar with hon maguro (up to 2 pcs), Hokkaido scallop and carpaccio. Adds the izakaya bar and agemono and tempura.
Omakase

All day, every day. Sushi last call 9:30 PM.

Starts with a chef's choice set of 9. Unlimited hon maguro while it lasts, and every other bar on the menu.
